Description
English: Navy Chaplain CAPT Nathan Solomon, serving as the Naval Forces Africa Chaplain, and CDR Ryan Bareng, Africom Deputy Command Chaplain, collaborate at the headquarters for U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa in Naples, Italy. The chaplains discussed planning pastoral support for Offices of Security Cooperation and bolstering Navy Chaplain coverage for the Marine Corps Embassy Security Group (MCESG) Chaplain’s office across Europe and Africa. Currently, there are no chaplains serving at any Embassies worldwide. This collaboration between AFRICOM and NAVAF contributes to the spiritual readiness of an area spanning 14.1 million square miles. #NavalStrategy #GlobalCoordination.
