Description

In my opinion Africa Day in Dublin has become more African since it moved to Farmleigh and thus more interesting.

This year I travelled light and did not use my Canon 1Ds. This particular photograph was shot in JPEG [something that I do not do] using a Sony VG10 Camcorder [there is a stills option]

The programme of Africa Day events in Ireland was coordinated and supported by Irish Aid at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In addition to celebrating African unity during Africa Day, Irish Aid aims to increase public awareness of Ireland’s overseas development programme, which is strongly focused on sub-Saharan Africa.
