You can't tell the originals from the kit cars these days, but it looks great. My favorite episode of PowerBlock TV was when a kit car Cobra with a 5 liter Coyote motor ran circles around an original 427: 0-60, 1/4 mile, braking, slalom, skidpad, everything. <a href="http://www.powerblocktv.com/episode/MC2012-05/427-cobra-and-factory-five-roadster" rel="nofollow">www.powerblocktv.com/episode/MC2012-05/427-cobra-and-fact...</a> But try telling that to the old men bidding six figures for the originals. Nostalgia is more powerful than actual history any day of the week. |
