Description

This series of photos shows the current status of construction works from the south. The southern portal of the new Ruckhalde Tunnel of the Appenzeller Bahnen for the new diameter line Appenzell-St Gallen-Trogen. 12 m after the new station Riethüsli the 700 m long tunnel starts with a 40 m long part which was created in open-cast mining. St Gallen, Switzerland, Feb 22, 2017. (1/16)
