Description

The First ever test of the Indian Advanced Air Defence (AAD) Missile, conducted on 6 December, 2007 from DRDO's Integrated Test Range (ITR), Wheeler's Island, Chandipur-on-Sea.

The AAD is an endo-atmospheric anti-ballistic missile system that can intercept incoming ballistic at altitudes up to 30 km. in this test, the AAD intercepted the incoming missile at an altitude of 15 km.
