Description
Nederlands: De volgende stap is om de volledige instandhouding van 17 schepen via een aanbestedings- en gunningstraject uit te besteden. Het gaat dan om het opleidingsvaartuig Van Kinsbergen, de duikvaartuigen Cerberus, Nautilus, Argus en Hydra, het tankschip Patria en een drukwaterponton. En verder nog de sleepboten Gouwe, Balgzand, Breezand, Schelde, Wierbalg, Westwal, Zuidwal, Malzwin en de haven-communicatievaartuigen Noorderhaaks en Zuiderhaaks.

Vrijwel al deze vaartuigen zijn ‘van de plank’ gekocht. Dit betekent dat de gebruikte systemen in de commerciële wereld goed te onderhouden zijn. Binnen de afdeling Klein Bovenwater (KBW) van CZSK worden deze systemen juist gezien als eenlingen of ‘speciaaltjes’. Dat maakte de instandhouding relatief duur en tijdrovend.
