"Greenville" downbound, passing under raised lift span. . Twin screw towboat "Greenville" (doc. # 553844, length 140 feet, breadth 35 feet, GM 16-567E2 diesels, 3800 hp.) Built in 1974 by Mainstream Shipyards, Greenville, Mississippi. Originally named "Frank H. Peavey, owned by Greenville Towing Co., Inc., leased to Peavey Co. In 1979, transferred to Williamson Leasing Co., Inc., Greenville, and renamed "Shelley Mott" In 1982, sold to TPC Transportation Co., St. Louis, Missouri, and renamed "Sno Sheen". In 1989, sold to Peavey Barge Lines, Alton, Illinois. In 1989, sold to Arkansas River Co., Greenville, and renamed "Greenville". In 1996, sold to American Commercial Barge Line, Jeffersonville, Indiana. In 2004, sold to Parker Towing Co., Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and renamed "Thelma Parker II". Still operating in 2018. . Ohio River mile 605. Louisville, Kentucky. March 30, 2001. file # a1c057. .
