Towboat "K. L. J. Erickson" (doc # 569214). Length 116 feet - width 34 feet - Twin screw GM 12-645E7A diesels, 4200 hp.. Built 1975 by Scully Bros. Boat Builders, Stephensville, LA. Originally "Sarah E. Thomas", owned by Marine Expediting Co., Butler, PA.. Repowered 1977. Sold to Marquette Transportation Co. LLC, Paducah, KY., and renamed "Teresa Renee Beesecker" 7/1988. [Note: This boat gets a mention in an old article on towboat-watching.] Renamed "K. L. J. Erickson" 11/1998. Renamed "Miss Doris" 8/2007. Operated 4/2010 by Inland Marine Service, Inc., Hebron, KY. . scanned from 6x9 cm transparency.
