Description
English: A U.S. Navy LTV A-7E Corsair II from attack squadron VA-81 Sunliners about to launch from the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60) on 22 March 1986. VA-81 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 17 (CVW-17) aboard the Saratoga for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea from 16 August 1985 to 16 April 1986. On 15 April 1986 Saratoga´s aircraft participated in "Operation El Dorado Canyon", the bombing of Libya.
