Description A bomb-ladden U.S. Navy Grumman A-6A Intruder (BuNo 155632) from Attack Squadron VA-75 Sunday Punchers launching from the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CVA-60). VA-75 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 3 (CVW-3) aboard the Saratoga for a deplyoment to Vietnam from 11 April 1972 to 13 February 1973.
155632 was later converted to an A-6E and shot down on 2 February 1991 by Iraqi flak off Faylaka Island, 49 km north-east of Kuwait City, while in service with VA-36, CVW-8 aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). The crew was killed.
