Description
English: Operation "Pershing". A search and destroy mission, conducted by elements of the 1st Sqdn, 9th Cav, 1st Cav Div (Airmobile), Eyes and Ears of the Div, approximately 50 km northeast of An Khe, in the Binh Dinh Province. SP4 John Ward, mortarman, 4th Plt, Co "A", has his hair cut by a Viet Cong turncoat who is now working as a barber at "Two-Bits" base camp. NARA 111-CCV-391-CC41835
