הערות: מ 1998, מקדם איגוד ערים דן את הטיפול בפסולת בפארק המחזור חירייה בו מתבצעת קליטת פסולת, מיון ושינוע למתקני קצה. בתחנת מעבר נקלטת אשפת אזור גוש דן מהמשאיות העירוניות של הרשויות המקומיות, נדחסת על ידי טרקטורים ומועמסת על משאיות ענק המשנעות אותה לאתר ההטמנה אפעה, בדרום ב2017 נחנך מפעל ה-RDF- Refuse Derived Fuel דלק שמקורו בפסולת. המפעל מטפל מידי יום בממוצע ב-1,500 טונות פסולת מעורבת: רכיבים אורגניים, מתכות, ורכיבי פסולת יבשה בעלי ערך קלורי גבוה ממנה מיוצרים 500 טון דלק מוצק, ביום לתעשיית המלט.
