Description: According to tradition in the Zanati family the family never left to exile since the destruction of the Second Temple. Since the death of her parents, Margalit Zanati has been living in Pkiin guarding and maintaining the ancient synagogue.

שם: פקיעין -חזית בית הכנסת
תיאור: לפי המסורת שבמשפחת זנתי מפקיעין, המשפחה מעולם לא עזבה לגלות מימי חורבן בית שני. מאז פטירת הוריה מרגלית זנתי מתגוררת בכפרה פקיעין, משמרת ומטפחת את ביה"כ העתיק שבמבנהו משובצות אבנים מעוטרות מימי המשנה והתלמוד כולל מנורת שבעת הקנים.
הערות: פקיעין היא מועצה מקומית במחוז הצפון בישראל. היישוב נמצא בגובה שבין 590–650 מטר מעל פני הים. היא הוכרזה כמועצה מקומית בשנת 1958. המועצה שוכנת בגליל העליון, מערבית לבית ג'ן ודרום-מזרחית למעלות-תרשיחא. כ-78% מתושבי היישוב הם דרוזים, כ-21% ערבים-נוצרים, 1% מוסלמים ואישה יהודיה, מרגלית זנתי בת היישוב היהודי העתיק (ויקיפדיה)
