Description: The Maine Friendship House is a historic building made of wood and stone in the American-German colony in Jaffa, the building is also known as the Frank House and is used as the American Colony Museum.

שם: תל אביב בית ידידות מיין
תיאור: בית ידידות מיין הוא מבנה היסטורי עשוי עץ ואבן במושבה אמריקאית-גרמנית ביפו, המבנה ידוע גם בשם "בית פרנק" והוא משמש כ"מוזיאון המושבה האמריקאית". ממערב למבנה שוכנת שוכנת כנסיית עמנואל שהוקמה בין השנים 1898–1904.
הערות: ב-22.9.1866 הגיעה לארץ ישראל קבוצה בת 157 איכרים, נגרים ובעלי מלאכה שונים ממדינת מיין שבארצות הברית, כדי להתיישב בארץ ולהכשיר את הקרקע לשיבת היהודים אליה, דבר שלאמונתם יביא לשיבת ישו ולבוא הגאולה. הבית הוקם בידי מרק וונטוורת' ,הוא נבנה מעץ שהובא מארצות הברית. סכסוכים אישיים בין המתיישבים ומחלות גרמו למרבית האמריקאים לעזוב את הארץ בין השנים 1867–1868.החל בשנת 1868 רכשו חברי כת הטמפלרים את בתי המושבה כדי להקים בה מושבה משל עצמם. בית וונטוורת' נרכש בידי משפחת פרנק והפך למלון(ויקיפדיה)
