הערות: תקרת בית הכנסת שנבנה ב 1885 בראש פינה, עשויה בצורת כיפה. הרב דוד שו"ב שלח למתיישבים הרומנים הודעה, לפני הגיעם, לאחר שהוא הגיע ביום שלג סוער לראש פינה ש"ישנם מים רבים בראש פינה". הוא התכוון לנחל ראש פינה שסער בעקבות מזג האוויר החורפי. הם חשבו בטעות שהמים רבים כדי להשיט בהן סירות דיג ושלחו את נגר הקבוצה, עקיבא דרקסלר, ללמוד בניית אוניות. לאחר שהגיעו לארץ הבינו את טעותם והשתמשו בסירות הדיג כדי לבנות את תקרת בית הכנסת בצורת כיפה עם תווי הסירות.
