הערות: בנין חוסמסה נבנה על ראש גבעה בחולון ב 1934 על קרקע שרכשו בעלי אגרובנק, יעקב מירנבורג ושמעון יעבץ. המבנה נבנה מעל באר ובו גרו השומר ומשפחתו. את הגן תכנן האדריכל יחיאל סגל. האזור והחולות שסביבו שימשו את ארגון ההגנה לאימונים עד 1948. האימונים נערכו בנשק שהוטמן באזור ובסליקים שבבאר ובגן במתחם חוסמסה. במלחמת העצמאות שימשה חוסמסה תחנה בדרך הביטחון שחיברה בין תל אביב ובין מושבות הדרום, ירושלים והנגב. שיירות הובילו דרכה ציוד, מזון, נשק ותחמושת ואנשים ליישובים הנצורים. בבניין כיום מוזיאון - יד ל"הגנה".
