Description
English: c/n 22277

Built in 1952 as an L-19A with the US military serial 51-11963. Redesignated as an O-1A in 1962. Became N4508B on the US civil register in 1972 and was operated by the Fort Devins Flying Club in Ayers, Massachusetts, until transferred to the Smithsonian Institute in 1978. Painted to represent “Mobile Miss”, a Bird Dog operated by the 74th Aviation Company (Aerial Surveillance) based near Saigon I 1972. Seen on display in the Steven F. Udvar Hazy Center as part of the National Air and Space Museum. Washington Dulles International Airport, Chantilly, Virginia
