Looking NE from roof of <a href="http://www.levybuilding.com/History.aspx" rel="nofollow">Levy Building</a> at NE corner of 3rd and Market Sts. In foreground, construction of foundation of One Corporate Plaza at SE corner of 3rd and Main Sts. (later <a href="http://www.lge-ku.com/" rel="nofollow">LG&E</a> corporate offices). At left, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farm_Credit_System" rel="nofollow">Farm Credit Banks</a> building at NW corner of 2nd and Main Sts. (later used by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humana" rel="nofollow">Humana</a>; demolished to make way for <a href="http://www.kfcyumcenter.com/" rel="nofollow">KFC Yum! Center</a>). Right of center, 100 block of W. Main St., known as <a href="http://www.examiner.com/article/a-short-history-of-whiskey-row-iron-quarter" rel="nofollow">Whiskey Row or the Iron Quarter</a>.
