Description
English: Cast copper alloy buckle frame. An asymmetrical, double looped frame with a separate forked pin attached to the bar. One loop of the frame is D-shaped and its outer edge is decorated with transverse lines. The other loop is rectangular. The frame thickens at the mid point of the long edges and has incised grooves where the narrowed bar emerges. A similar buckle can be seen in Whitehead, R 1996, p91, No. 568.
