Description
English: COLUMBUS AFB, Miss. – The T-38 “Tweet” airplanes and UH-1N “Huey” helicopters now share the runway here. The 620th Air Expeditionary Squadron, comprised of people, equipment and helicopters from four Air Force Space Command bases, stood up at Columbus Saturday in support of JTF Katrina. This is the first time in AFSPC history helos have been deployed from the missile fields to form an AES and support national disaster relief efforts. (Photo by Senior Airman John Parie)
