| Description |
English: 61 Broad Street, Worcester. This four storey Georgian building, dating from the mid-eighteenth century and now occupied by the Skipton Building Society is described by Pevsner as one of the 'collecter's pieces of Worcester'. Unnoticed by many people in Worcester, myself included until recently the narrowness of this building is emphasised by the large Venetian windows. Above each of the three windows is a life-like carved head 722193 722198. Out of sight in this picture the building is topped by a belvedere. |
