Description
English: Photo from the mid 1930s showing members of the Belarusian Shatila family who survived deportation in Soviet Union: whilst the mother with two survived, the father and two daughters died in exile. Another children allegedly was taken to the relatives and his whereabouts are still unknown.
Deutsch: Ein Foto aus den 1930er Jahren, dass Teile der belarussischen Familie Schatila zeigt. Die Familie wurde Opfer der Deportation in der Sowjetunion: Während die Mutter mit zwei Kindern überlebte, starben der Vater und zwei weitere Töchter im Exil. Ein weiteres Kind soll angeblich zu Verwandten gebracht worden sein, aber sein Verbleib ist unbekannt.
