FORT. STEWART, Ga., Nov. 10, 2017— Georgia State Patrol member, Trooper First Class Jason Bland along with his teammate Trooper First Class Michael Garmon were awarded the Top Overall Sniper Team during this years Andrew Sullens Marksmanship Competition. Both competitors also became the first civilian agency members to receive the Georgia National Guards Governors Twenty tab for their accuracy using various weapons platforms, long range engagement and combat pistol disciplines.
