English: A well defined keyhole horseshoe with four rectangular nail holes to each branch.Three of the nails are still in place and reveal the T-shaped heads.Slightly fullered with no calkins. The keyhole shoe was mainly used on draught horses. Reference: Ivan G Sparks, OLD HORSESHOES,pp.18-19. |
