Summary
[edit]Description525 T Street, N.W..jpg |
English: A Second Empire-style house located at 525 T Street, N.W., (originally known as Maple Avenue) in the LeDroit Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Built in 1873 to the designs of architect James H. McGill, (additional examples of McGill's work) the brick, three-storied home is designated as a contributing property to the LeDroit Park Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. Two carriage houses converted into rental units are located behind the residence, one of fifty McGill-designed homes (out of the sixty-four originally built) remaining in the historic district. |
