English: The 4th Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment said goodbye to LTC Jerry L. Wood during a Change of Command ceremony. The squadron welcomed LTC Joseph M. Byerly as their new Squadron Commander.

LTC Byerly previously served in multiple positions within Joint Special Operations Command. This included serving as special advisor to the commander of Joint Special Operations, the commander of Resolute Support Mission, Afghanistan, and the commander of the 82nd Airborne Division.
