English: U.S. Marine Corps GySgt. Patrick Doody, native of Orland Park, Illinois and a jumpmaster with 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve conducts a military freefall special insertion during BALTOPS 24 on Gotland, Sweden, June 7, 2024. BALTOPS 24 is the premier maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic Region. This annual joint, multinational maritime-focused exercise, executed by NATO forces to provide opportunities to strengthen combined response capabilities necessary to preserve Baltic regional stability.
