English: Marine Sgt. Jonathan Schannep (right) of San Leandro, Calif., an assistant team leader with 4th Force Reconnaissance Company, 2nd platoon, and Marine Sgt. Eric Anderson of Corona, Calif., an assistant radio telephone operator with the platoon, perform an initial reconnaissance of the beach after swimming ashore Aug. 23, 2014, at the Kaneohe Bay Range Training Facility during the company’s final mission profile (FMP). The FMP was the final part of a two-week annual training period when more than 130 4th Force Reconnaissance Company Marines conducted exercises including live fire and demolition, small boat operations and scout swimming, and infiltration and ambush. The annual training period culminated in two days of full mission profiles that combined all the training elements into day and night operations for each platoon.
