| Description |
Taken with my old point and click. Not a bad effort considering the combination of not great weather, not great camera and not great photographer! When standing on platform and photographing a locomotive on that platform's road, the bottom third or so of the locomotive below platform heigh is obscured. The solution of course is to take the photo from the other side, where there is no platform. But because of the island platforms on the London Extension, this type of cross-track photograph can only be taken on the GCR at Leicester North - from the the short stub platform opposite. There is time to take some photos and not miss the train returning. |
