[edit]Description4620 very low (63669401).jpg |
British English: A German Panavia Tornado IDS (registration 46+20) used as a flying display aircraft for the 'Marinefliegergeschwader 2' (MFG 2) (2nd Naval Fighter Wing) in 2005 when MFG 2 was disbanded as the last fighter wing of the German navy. Below the MFG 2-emblem on the tail fin is the emblem of the re-established 'Aufklärungsgeschwader 51' (AG 51) 'Immelmann' (51st Reconnaissance Wing) of the Luftwaffe (German Air Force), which was equipped with the Tornado' fighters of MFG 2, and also took over part of its role.
