| Description |
English: 44 and 46 Commercial Street, Brighouse On the 1907 1:2500 map these two buildings and Fulton's to the right look to be four similar with a central archway. The archway was probably where the smaller of the two D&A windows is, and the D&A building has had architectural treatment, with a skin of ashlar stone, columns and a large semi-circular window. However the building to the left is much lower than the pair on the right (shown in the photo of 28-32 Commercial Street). To the left of The Flower Garden there is a narrow passage through to Ganny Road. This was possibly a footpath that existed before the land was developed. |
