English: Shaun Dever, participant in the 41st Marine Corps Marathon, runs along the marathon's monumental course through Washington, D.C. and finishing at the Marine Corps War Memorial, Arlington, Va., Oct. 30, 2016. Also known as "The People's Marathon," the 26.2 mile race drew roughly 30,000 participants to promote physical fitness, generate goodwill in the community, and showcase the organizational skills of the Marine Corps.
