Description He took these in March 1985. The trains were headed geographically west. The tracks make a U-turn at Caliente and just at the right edge of the photos (at cab level) you can see the track at the beginning the climb up the Tehachapi Mountains. The lead AT&SF diesel was 2773 and the SP was 8571. You gotta love the lighting.
