Description
English: AWM Caption:Korea. 1 January 1953. Two Australian soldiers take a turn of duty watching the Chinese position in the front line. The soldier with the .30 machine gun is 3/3238 Private Ronald James (Ronnie) Tippet, of 6 Platoon, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment. Note the snow covered dugout at right.
