Beautiful Autumn sunshine over Essex and a scheduled business meeting in Basildon allowed me to finally get some good shots of this year's Rail Head Treatment Trains in fine weather. The light engine 37s returning to Wembley after the Great Eastern RHTT had passed also allowed me to experiment with using the SLR and DJI drone simultaneously - this is not easy, especially as the drone suffers from a 1 to 1.5 sec propagation delay from pressing the shutter button, but I'm relatively pleased with the results today. New Bombardier Class 720s are really making inroads into the passenger service and look very smart. |
