English: A sheet copper-alloy hilt plate for a knife pommel length 29mm, width 7mm, thickness 0.7mm, weight 0.74g. The object is sub-oval in shape with a pointed base. In profile the object is arched into a 'U' shape. There is a rectangular hole in the centre where the tang would have passed through. Date 14th-15th century
