English: Copper alloy clothes fastener length 33mm, width 28mm, thickness 4mm, weight 6.32g. Elliptical-shaped plate, this is the female element of a two-part fastener, it has three pierced knops for attachment to the cloth, two are truncated and one large loop on the forward edge, again truncated.
This artefact dates to the 17th century. |
