English: Two pins from disc-on-pin brooches or buckles, 13th - 14th century: - complete, disc (diameter 11mm) with central aperture (diameter 6mm), some gilding present, length 23mm. - gilt, loop missing, ovoid disc (17mm x 13mm) pierced by four rivets with sub-conical heads, length >30mm. Other examples have been recorded from Attleborough (HER 33178), Banham (31207), Bunwell (38062), Harling (6033; EAA 74 fig.39, no.49), Postwick (30475) and West Acre (32619). |
