English: Right to left: U.S. Army Col. Donald Neal Jr., incoming commander of 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Lt. Gen. Charles Costanza, commanding general of V Corps, and Col. Robert McChrystal, outgoing commander of 2CR, salute during a regimental and squadrons change of command ceremony at the 7th Army Training Command's Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, June 13, 2024. During the ceremony, McChrystal relinquished command of 2CR to Neal. Six squadrons of 2CR also changed command. 2CR provides V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps, with combat-credible forces capable of rapid deployment throughout the European theater to defend the NATO alliance.
