Description
English: A cast, copper alloy, post-medieval button with integral, circular suspension loop, c. 1500-1600AD. The button is slightly domed, but is otherwise plain. It has a dark brown patina. It is 10mm long and 9.5mm in diameter. It weighs 1.48gm. Reference: Bailey, Buttons and Fasteners, p.29, Fig. 7.41.
