2808 Medieval knife terminal
Description
English: Copper-alloy knife terminal length 24mm, width 10mm, thickness 5mm, weight 4.31g. This is rectangular in plan with a slot at the base for the tang, this area is encrusted in iron corrosion. The mid section has three rectangular slots (2mm deep) on either side. The terminal is rounded with a circular knop tip. Date 15th-16th century
