Description 274-276 Berkeley Place between 8th Avenue and Plaza Street West in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City was built in 1890-91 as a residence for George Tangeman, and was designed by Lamb & Rich in the Romanesque Revival style, with elements of the Neoclassical style. The house was admired by other architects and appeared in the "Imperial Edition" of the American Architect & Building News in February 1892. It is located in the Park Slope Historic District.
