| Description | View of DB class 628 DMUs and 140.026 at Ruette in Tirol on 24 May 1989. Despite being in Austria, the line that passes through this station links two parts of the German rail network between Garmisch-Partenkirchen (to the east) and Pfronten-Steinach (to the west). As such the line is isolated from the rest of the ÖBB network. The class 140 was in charge of a service from Ruette in Tirol through to Innsbruck via Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The class 628 to the right was the 10:46 Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Kempten (Allgäu) Hbf. |
