Description
English: A typical IND mosaic and directional sign at the center of the Downtown platform of the 23rd Street IND Eighth Avenue station, under 8th Avenue and 24th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. The tilework at this station, like those along the Central Park West stretch of the line, is very uninteresting, epitomized by a mosaic where the outer and inner tiles are the same color. The directional sign points north (right) to the nearby exit at 24th Street.
