John Kolasheski, the commanding general of U.S. Army Fifth Corps, during the official renaming ceremony for Camp Kościuszko, Poznan, Poland, July 30, 2022. The renaming of the Forward Operating Site at Poznan to Camp Kościuszko represents the United States and Poland’s shared history and marks the beginning of the first permanent U.S. presence on NATO’s eastern flank.
