English: U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Alvin Porch, senior enlisted advisor of the 21st Special Troops Battalion, hands the guidon to Lt. Col. Grant Thimsen, outgoing commander of the 21st Special Troops Battalion, as he relinquishes command at the 21st Special Troops Battalion change of command ceremony held at Panzer Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany on June 9, 2023.

The change of command ceremony was held on Panzer Field to say farewell to Thimsen as he relinquishes command of the 21st STB to Lt. Col. Chad Juhlin, incoming commander of the 21st Special Troops Battalion, as his tenure as commander comes to a close and he goes on his next assignment in Hawaii.

Juhlin previously was the explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) operations officer at Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Samuel Signor)
