English: Roman copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends type, West Midlands).Plain bow, either side of which is a cast pad from which spring the wings. The wings are semi-circular and hollow based, originally with perforated round plates at the ends that engaged the spring retaining pin.
