Description
Deutsch: Die Gauernitzer Elbinsel ist eine unbewohnte Flussinsel in der Elbe und gehört zum Ortsteil Gauernitz der Gemeinde Klipphausen im Landkreis Meißen. Neben der rund 30 Stromkilometer elbaufwärts im Südosten Dresdens gelegenen Pillnitzer Elbinsel, mit der sie seit 2006 das gemeinsame Naturschutzgebiet Elbinseln Pillnitz und Gauernitz bildet, ist die Gauernitzer eine von zwei verbliebenen Elbinseln in Sachsen.
