Українська: Amblyseius (Neoseiulus) californicus (McGregor, 1954) - хижий кліщ, якого застосовують в біологічному контролі павутинних кліщів (Tetranychus urticae C. L. Koch, 1836).
На фото наглядний приклад процесу біологічного контролю павутинних кліщів (шкідників) за допомогою кліщів-фітосеїд Амблісейус каліфорнікус (хижаків). Це природний процес полювання, до якого резистентність у шкідника не виникне ніколи, на відміну від пестицидів. Застосування ентомофагів у агропромисловому секторі грає колосальну роль у біологічному контролі шкідників. Зберігає та підвищує врожайність культур та зменшує пестицидне навантаження на навколишнє середовище. L. Koch, 1836).
The photo shows a clear example of the process of biological control of spider mites (pests) using phytoseiid mites Amblyseius californicus (predators). This is a natural hunting process to which the pest will never develop resistance, unlike pesticides. The use of entomophages in the agro-industrial sector plays a colossal role in the biological control of pests. It preserves and increases the yield of crops and reduces the pesticide load on the environment.
