Nederlands: Gezicht op de Sint-Pietersberg, als onderdeel van een zesdelig beschilderd kamerscherm. Het scherm bevat aan twee kanten schilderingen. Aan de ene kant is een doorlopend riviergezicht van de Maas en de Sint-Pietersberg te zien. Hier het zogenaamde "gat van Lichtenberg", een doorgang door een mergelwand nabij kasteel Lichtenberg. De andere kant bestaat uit 12 verschillende gezichten van kastelen en dorpen in de omgeving van Maastricht. De schilderingen worden toegeschreven aan Josua de Grave (1643–1712) of een navolger . Hoogte kamerscherm: 225 cm; breedte: 513 cm. Hoogte paneel: 103,5 cm; breedte: 74 cm. Olieverf op linnen. Het scherm is door de eigenaar LGOG in langdurig bruikleen afgestaan, eerst aan het Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht (inv.nr. 1000203), sinds circa 1993 aan het Limburgs Museum in Venlo. Deze foto is gemaakt tijdens de tentoonstelling De Zonnekoning en Oranje in het Limburgs Museum in 2023. |
